Bible Study Groups

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10

There is a place for every adult in the ministry of First Baptist, Eastman. There is a place of worship, friendship, service, and spiritual growth. There is an excitement in serving and growing together as the people of God. What better way for you to enhance your spiritual walk than to participate in the family life at First Baptist? The opportunities are endless. We invite you to come and explore and to partner with us as we serve Christ.

C.O.R.E. Groups

Every person is encouraged to be a part of a C.O.R.E. group. These classes are designed for Bible study, ministry, fellowship and friendship. It is the heart of ministry and teaching in the adult area. Our classes meet from 10 AM to 11 AM every Sunday. The classes are divided into seven areas:

All senior adults are invited to join the Getaway Bible study at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. The second Tuesday of every month we have our Getaway Breakfast at 9:00 AM with Bible study to follow at 10:00 AM. This study is led by Associate Pastor Clay Layfield.

Adults of all ages are welcomed to be a part of this study at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall located in the main church building next to the Welcome Center. Al Daniel leads this group through in-depth studies of various books of the Bible.

We also have various Bible studies through the year. Call the church office (478-374-5427) for information about current Bible study groups.
