We know how hard it is to come to every meeting and event that is required of you. Therefore, we want to help out by giving you and your student all the information needed for camp in one convenient location.

Parent Check List

I. Camp Participants

We have students and chaperons going to camp. We’ll take the church bus and vans to Cleveland, TN.

II. Mission Projects

On Tuesday-Thursday, our group will have teams serving at different mission sites. In each of these locations, we’ll have a wonderful opportunities to share the love & Gospel of Christ in various, tangible way. Pray that we will work well together and faithfully serve Jesus as we participate in these projects.

III. Camp Balances

If you haven’t already done so please be sure to submit your final camp payment to the church by Sunday, June 1. The total cost for campers is $350. If you don’t know your balance, contact Tony.

IV. Departure/Return:

We’ll leave at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, June 9, so be here no later than 7:00 a.m. to load up. We should return around 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13. Please feel free to call or text Tony to see if we’re on schedule. Tony’s cell number is 228-731-6247.

V. What To Bring

A packing list for the week is in the “Parent Pack”.   CLICK HERE for the "Parent Pack". Once you click on the link, you will find a tab called "Mission". Click it to get the packing list. 

Please bring no more than 2 Bags to be packed and 1 carry-on. The carry-on should contain your Bible/pen to do the first day’s Quiet Time on the bus. Other items to bring that aren’t on the list: are snacks, an umbrella, & camera.

Further on “What not to bring”:
1) Members of our group will NOT wear: spaghetti strap tops, tight tank tops, two-piece swimsuits, baggy pants that hang down, or “short shorts”. Our adults will ask you to change clothes if we feel you are not dressed appropriately.
2) Cell phones and other technological devices can be brought, but can only be used on the bus ride to and from camp or during afternoon free time. At all other times, these devices WILL remain out of sight. If you bring such a device, you’re doing so with the condition that an adult may collect and hold that devices if it is being used at inappropriate times.

Note: Our group will be part of the “Yellow SHOCK” squad at camp, so be sure to bring any yellow clothes and items that you have so that you can show spirit and support your squad.

VI. Spending Money

Each camper’s spending money should include funds for 3 fast food meals and for any shirts, cd’s, snacks, etc. that may be purchased at camp.

VII. Emergency Contact Information

Always call Tony’s cell phone as your first option. If you can’t get him and it is an emergency, call Student Life (888-811-9934) and they will run us down.

VIII. Release Forms

Each student and adult participate must complete and submit two different release forms for camp: The Student Life Participant Form must be completed online and it can be accessed by the Student Life specific “Participant Form” link.

You will need to click "Participant Form below". You will need the Reg ID # 93336 and this “Medical Release” form for our church.)

The FBC “Medical Release” form must be notarized. We commend that a copy of your health insurance card be stapled to the First Baptist form.
