What To Expect

What to Expect

We hope you will worship with us on campus soon. To help you feel comfortable at FBCE when you arrive, we want to answer some common questions about our church.

Service Times

Each service lasts about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.

We welcome you to attend either of our two worship services. The first starts at 8:45 AM and the second at 11:00 AM. Childcare for babies-3's is available for both services.Children’s Church for Pre-K and Kindergarten children takes place during the 11:00 AM service.

CORE Groups (Sunday School) meet at 10:00 AM. These groups for children and youth also meet at 10:00 AM.

We invite you to attend our evening worship service which kicks off at 6:00 PM. Childcare is typically available for babies-3’s. And Children's Church is available for all pre-k and k kids.

Here is a map and directions to First Baptist Church. Please park in either of the lots located behind the church off of Pine Street. This facilities map will show you where parking and our Church Welcome Center is located. At the Welcome Center, our church family will happily direct you to the worship service or Sunday school classes.

If you have children, bring them to the Children’s Ministry Center.  It is the long two story building facing Pine Street. The parking lot is on one side and the playgrounds on the other. Once in the building, head towards the welcome desk located in the center of the building. There, our friendly staff will help you check your child in and get them to the right class.

If you have youth, they will meet in The Station located on 6th Avenue across from the main church building.

FBCE is about Christ and not fashion on Sunday morning. Most of our members dress casually. We encourage our guests to dress comfortably and modestly. Both shorts and suits are welcome!

Our Music style is a blend of contemporary and traditional hymns, seeking to involve everyone in Christ-centered worship.

If you have more questions, please let us know how we can better care for you! Lord willing, we’ll see you soon!
