Parents

So, you’re a parent of a teenager! Congratulations!  While guiding a child through adolescence can be tough, it is of vital importance and can actually be very rewarding, both for the student and the parent.
Our youth ministry exists to come alongside parents and assist them in the responsibility of training up teenagers in the "discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). We are here for you and we want to help you, the God-given authorities in each teen’s life, in any way that we can as you train up your child "in the way he should go" (Proverbs 22:6).
In addition, we need you! Without the parents of our students playing an active role in our youth ministry, we will never be all that God desires for us to be. Below, you will find four ways that you can be apart of what God is doing in our youth ministry and the life of your student.

Serving and Chaperoning

From hanging out and loving on teens at The Pump, to teaching a weekly Bible study, to going with us on trips, adults are always needed for each of our ongoing ministries and special activities. As you serve, you'll share special, memory-making moments with your child, you'll know how to build upon what they're experiencing, and you'll have opportunities to invest in them and their friends. If you would like to serve in any way, please contact Pastor Tony so that we can determine how to best plug you in. You can stay up to date on the latest youth ministry happenings by checking out The Latest from The Station each week.

Vault Discipleship

Believing that discipleship best takes place through relationships and that parents have the primary, God-given responsibility for making disciples of their children, the Vault Discipleship strategy was developed to both lock God’s Word into students’ lives and launch godly students into life. Each fall, students and parents have the opportunity to sign up for Vault. Then, teams are formed, consisting of 1-3 students and a parent or other adult leader. The teams meet throughout the school year, at a time and place of their choosing, to discuss the discipleship curriculum that they have been working through individually, encourage one another, and pray together.  It's never too late to get involved in Vault.
